With all the fog this morning, I thought I might be able to get some interesting shots at the Shelter Gardens. By the time I got there, the fog had lifted a little. I was still very pleased with some of the shots.

The other day I was surfing around the net and ran across a Flickr page that included snapshots from different small towns around Missouri. It reminded me of how much I enjoy driving through the country and seeing what you come up on. Whether it be a small town, abandoned property, old bridge, etc. So on Saturday we decided to take a drive. Here are a couple of shots that we came across. Murry, MO Not sure what the Caution is for. Could be for the Bump ahead, or just a Caution to not blink, as you may miss it. The next two are from Chance Garden in Centralia, MO For more of this Series please click here We finished the day off in Jefferson City to drop PJ off at a friends house. On our way back out of town, I decided to try shot that I had been wanting to for a while. Here are the results.

A couple of weeks ago I got a call from a close friend. He was shooting a wedding for a couple at our Church. A week before the wedding the Bride was doing a Dress Rehearsal with hair and makeup. This was a great time to do a Bridal Shoot. Richard asked me to assist him during the shoot. There were going to be 3 locations and quite a bit of equipment. It was a great experience in setting and using Studio Lights, and the whole Portrait Process. While not hauling equipment around, or holding lights I had a chance to pull out my camera and take some shots. For more of the shots that I took please take a look at my Photo Gallery. For the official shoot photos please check out Richard Berry's Website.

I would like to announce a new addition to the Jeffries Family. Sophia is a 2 year old Miniature Schnauzer that was needing a quiter home with less Dogs.
Both April and Phillip have been wanting a Dog. The only problem we ran into is that April is Allergic to almost all Dogs and Cats. Schnauzers are one of the only dogs that she can be around, since they do not shed at all. Sophia was described as a Lap Dog. This was a miss-understatement. From the moment that we met her, we fell in love. As soon as squatted down to pet her, she was trying to get in my lap. Once I actually sat on the floor, she was right there across my legs. On the trip home she rode on April's lap and had no problems at all. If you give her anything that looks like a lap she will be in it, and will not move until you set her down. Look forward to more info about Sophia as we get to know her more. I am sure you will see MANY pictures of her in the future. |
